Privacy
Sunavi works from the date, time and place you were born. That is intimate information, so this page says plainly what is kept, why it is kept, and how you remove it whenever you want.
Last updated 30 August 2026.
Who holds it
Sunavi is run by Esmeralda Petrela, Tirana, Albania. For anything about your data, write to sunavi@sunavi.app.
What is kept
Your account. Your email address and password. The password is stored encrypted by the account service and is never seen by us.
Your birth details. Date, time and place. Without these there is no calculation, so they are the only genuinely necessary thing.
What you tell us about yourself. Your name, your gender and the grammatical form you choose, your orientation, relationship status, children, work and where you live now. Only the name is required. Everything else can stay empty, and every one of them offers Prefer not to say.
What you write. The notes and memories you save inside the app.
Payment. If you subscribe, Stripe takes the payment. Your card number never passes through Sunavi and is not stored here. What is stored is a reference to the subscription and its state: active, cancelled, unpaid.
What is not done
There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no tracker of any kind and no advertising cookie. Sunavi does not follow you around the internet and does not profile you for adverts.
Your data is not sold and not rented. To anyone.
Orientation and gender
European law calls these special category data, and rightly so. So:
- They are entirely voluntary. You can leave them out and the app works the same.
- They are used for one thing: so the Love reading does not assume that every woman is expecting a husband. Without your answer, Sunavi assumes nothing and weighs both possibilities.
- Gender is also used for Albanian word endings, so the text speaks to you the way you want.
- You can clear them at any moment under Life Profile, without deleting your account.
Children's details
If you add a child's birth date, you are storing information about another person. Only add it if you have the right to, as their parent or guardian. It is deleted along with everything else when you remove it.
Who else touches it
Sunavi relies on a few services, which act only on our instructions:
- Supabase holds the accounts and the database.
- Render is the engine that does the astronomical calculations.
- Netlify serves the pages.
- Stripe takes payments and holds the card details, not us.
- Resend sends account emails, such as confirmation or a password reset.
- LocationIQ, Photon and OpenStreetMap turn a place into coordinates. They receive only the name of the place, never your name and never your birth date.
Some of these are outside Albania and outside the European Union. Those transfers rely on the providers' own standard protection measures.
Why it is kept
- To provide the service you asked for: birth details, account, subscription.
- With your consent: orientation and how you describe your gender.
- To keep the service running and secure.
- Legal obligations around payment records.
For how long
For as long as you want. Your account and everything in it stays until you delete it. Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as commercial and tax law requires, even after the account is gone.
How to delete it
In the account menu there is Delete my account. It cancels your subscription if you have one, removes every row that belongs to you, and finally removes the login itself. There is no way back and no need to ask anyone.
If something goes wrong, write to sunavi@sunavi.app and it is done by hand.
Your rights
You can ask to see what is held about you, to correct it, to receive it as a file, to delete it, or to withdraw a consent you gave. For all of these, one email to sunavi@sunavi.app is enough. If you live in the European Union and believe something is wrong, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
What is stored in your browser
Sunavi keeps your profile and the last chart you calculated locally, so you do not type them again on every visit. They stay on your device and are cleared when you clear the site's data. They are not tracking cookies.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. For changes that genuinely affect your data, you will be told by email.
